Dana Elia MS, RDN, LDN
Dana M. Elia, DCN-c, MS, RDN, LDN, FAND holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology-Dietetics from Montclair State University and a Masters of Health Sciences in Integrative Health and Wellness from Rutgers University. With a passion for ongoing education and a drive to always provide her patients with the best level of care, Dana is currently finishing her doctorate in clinical functional nutrition (DCN) through Maryland University of Integrative Health where in 2019 she was awarded the Student Research Poster Award. Dana is the owner of Fusion Integrative Health and Wellness, LLC and an adjunct faculty member at the PA College of Health Sciences. An active member of her dietetics and local communities, Dana serves on the executive committees for the Dietitians in Integrative Functional Medicine (DIFM) as Chair, the Lancaster Area Celiac Support group and the Lancaster Chapter of the American Holistic Nurses Association. As a recognized leader in integrative and functional nutrition, Dana was a member of the joint DIFM-DPBRN working group that resulted in two publications in JAND and she has provided content reviews for projects such as the 5th edition of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Complete Food and Nutrition Guide and numerous CPE programs. She regularly speaks to both lay and professional audiences and has been featured in or authored numerous articles for Natural Awakenings Magazine and LNP. Dana is also the author of the upcoming book, The Stem Cell Activation DIet, which will be
released in early 2020.
