Chelsea Williams, Communications Director
Throughout her career, Chelsea has acquired an expertise in digital health marketing and communication, social media engagement, and impact strategies. She has created communication plans, e-newsletters, fact sheets and partner outreach initiatives for several federal agencies including the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Health Resources and Services Administration, National Institute of Diabetes Digestive and Kidney Diseases and Environmental Protection Agency.
In 2017, Chelsea was named to the Maryland Daily Record’s VIP list, which recognizes professionals age 40 and younger for their accomplishments, community service and commitment to inspiring change. She has won numerous awards for her work, including a HERMES Creative Award and several American Advertising Awards, also known as the ADDY Awards.
Chelsea received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design from Radford University and holds a Master of Public Health in nutrition from Liberty University. She is also a Certified Communicator in Public Health through the National Public Health Information Coalition.
