IFNA’s Culinary Nutrition Immersion extends this CPEU offering into the kitchen where training expands to a multi-sensory hands-on ‘food as medicine’ experience. This one of a kind opportunity allows the learner to directly translate evidence-based clinical nutrition guidelines for therapeutic elimination diets including: FODMAPs, Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD)/SIBO, and the Six Food Elimination Diet (SFED). Knowing how to cook is one thing, understanding how to make therapeutic diets enticing is another skill set. You will receive a comprehensive culinary nutrition toolkit that contains recipes and menus created and sampled by all participants. An invigorating weekend of bonding and mind body practices with your colleagues will round out this integrative experience.
