Learn More About the IFNCP Credential
The Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner (IFNCP) offering is an Advanced Practice Credential and distinguishes you as a healthcare professional who has received advanced training in Integrative and Functional Nutrition. IFNA’s training empowers you with cutting-edge knowledge, practical skills, and the confidence to elevate your career in nutrition and wellness. Our goal is that upon successful completion of the IFNA program and IFNCP Credential Exam, you’ll have acquired the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to be a competent Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner.
You’ll be empowered to:
- Create personalized therapeutic diet recommendations
- Make dietary supplement recommendations and order dietary supplements via FullScript
- Access extensive labs through Fullscript (available in US only) and Evexia Diagnostics (available in US & Canada), two large lab companies that will allow you to order hundreds of different types of both conventional and functional labs.
The IFNCP Credential is not a license, does not replace licensure, nor does it authorize anyone to call themselves a nutritionist or dietitian. Once earned, the Advanced Practice Credential allows you to refer to yourself as an IFNCP or an Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner.
How to Earn Your IFNCP Advanced Practice Credential
To earn the IFNCP credential, you must complete all 5 IFNA Tracks (33 modules) and successfully pass a Board Exam. You can progress through the Tracks at your own pace; however, you will have up to 12 months to complete all 5 IFNA Tracks and your mentoring hours (your time frame is determined based on the date of your initial Track registration with IFNA). Most students complete the program in 9-12 months!
