Biography :I have a Master’s from India, and Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from Georgia State University Atlanta, GA. For over 25 years I have worked extensively in Nutrition Therapy, starting my career in Long term care setting providing nutrition counselling to seniors, and working in hospitals. But then I started seeing the prevalence of obesity and diabetes skyrocket, I started rethinking my approach towards, health and nutrition. I became certified in Adult Weight Management, and Diabetes thinking I can make a contribution by decreasing the disease burden in society. My thirst for knowledge did not end here. Two years ago a colleague of mine introduced me to Functional Nutrition and from that day onward, I started looking at Nutrition with an “Ha Ha moment”.
