I bring the unique combination of both a culinary degree from the Culinary Institute of America and a master’s degree in nutrition from New York Medical College to every counseling session. Completing the certification in Integrative and Functional Nutrition has further expanded my investigative lens. I believe that all healing begins with the gut and the genesis of each counseling sessions is a complete and thorough history.
The concept of “whole food as medicine” has been central to my lifelong passion of creating delicious, nourishing meals and teaching others how to do the same. My work has been featured in Weight Watcher’s Magazine, Prevention Magazine, Ladies Home Journal as well as numerous cookbooks including: Veg Power, Recipes to Pump up Produce and Use Less Meat.
Currently, I offer secure tele health counseling sessions as well as individual and group cooking classes. My approach is to partner with clients and offer a holistic, integrative approach to help each client achieve optimal wellness.
