Jennifer Cauthorn Martinsen

Jen Cauthorn Martinsen, IFNCP, is a functional nutritionist and Senior Health & Performance Consultant at HUB International, where she brings a rare dual lens to corporate wellbeing — one rooted equally in clinical practice and strategic consulting.

Jen's career began in corporate wellbeing, where she has spent the better part of two decades developing her consulting foundation before pursuing a deeper calling. She returned to school, earned her clinical credentials, and spent eight years in private practice as an Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner (IFNCP), specializing in women's holistic health across North County San Diego. There she worked at the root-cause level — using nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and herbal therapeutics to address the hormonal, metabolic, and mental health patterns that conventional care often overlooks. Two years ago, she brought that clinical chapter full circle, returning to corporate consultation with a perspective few in the field can match.

Today, Jen partners with self-funded and fully insured employers to design population health strategies, evaluate point solutions, and build benefit programs that meaningfully move the needle on workforce wellbeing, productivity, and retention. Her clinical instincts inform how she interrogates vendor solutions, interprets claims trends, and advocates for programs that address the whole person — not just the claim.

Jen is especially passionate about women's health and the underserved role it plays in workplace wellbeing strategy. She lives and works in Southern California.
