Emily is a registered dietitian and integrative and functional nutrition care practitioner with a master's degree in nutritional science. She has experience as a credentialed elementary school teacher and has also taught nutrition at California State University, Long Beach. Beyond the classroom, she has developed and published research regarding dietary modification. Over the years, she has provided individualized nutrition therapy at various hospitals and clinics. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Celiac Disease Foundation. In 2014, she established Luxford Nutrition, a nutrition company focusing on building dietary awareness. Most recently, she has expanded her practice to include telehealth nutrition. Having been diagnosed with celiac disease and Hashimoto's thyroiditis at a young age, Emily has experience as both patient and health care provider. She understands the client's perspective and provides personalized care to all her clients. Emily Luxford's ultimate goal is to help the broader community achieve nutrition wellness.
