Karen Grecea is a Registered Dietitian and Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner (IFNCP) with a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition from New York University, bringing her experiences across critical care, health technology, and private practice.
Her clinical foundation was built as a Critical Care Dietitian at Montefiore Hospital Wakefield, where she managed complex ICU patients on enteral and parenteral nutrition, cared for individuals with cardiovascular disease, diabetes, renal disease, cancer, and obesity, trained medical residents in ICU nutrition, and implemented two evidence-based clinical trials to advance wound-healing protocols.
She went on to coach high-performing executives at the metabolic health startup Reframe Ultra, designing individualized plans using biometric data including HRV, continuous glucose monitoring, and sleep tracking.
Karen is now the founder of Health By Habit, a tele-health private practice specializing in weight management, GLP-1 support, pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes, heart and metabolic health, nutrient deficiencies, amenorrhea, and healing one's relationship with food — integrating behavior change science, functional nutrition, and lifestyle medicine to deliver personalized, root-cause care to clients nationwide.
