Dima Salhoobi, MS, RD, CDN, IFNCP: A Personalized Approach to Health
As a Registered Dietitian and Certified Integrative and Functional Nutrition Care Practitioner, my passion is to move beyond standard dietary advice to uncover the root causes of my patients' health concerns. I hold both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Nutrition from Lehman College, City University of New York, which provided the strong scientific foundation for my practice.
I launched my private practice just before the unprecedented challenges of COVID-19. While my initial focus was on pediatric nutrition, I recognized a growing need to support the entire family unit, expanding my expertise to include women's health and weight management.
My approach is deeply personalized. By integrating the principles of Functional Nutrition, I delve into the unique biochemistry of each individual. This allows me to create highly tailored wellness plans that address underlying imbalances—not just symptoms. I believe that when you understand the "why" behind your health, we can work together to set achievable, meaningful goals that fit your unique life and needs.
Outside of my practice, I am a wife and a busy mom to three children and three cats, which keeps me grounded and reminds me of the real-world application of sustainable, family-friendly nutrition.
