Sarah Amidon, MS, RDN, LDN, IFNCP, specializes in chronic health conditions and sports performance by utilizing evidence-based genomic testing, nutrition counseling, and targeted nutrition and lifestyle recommendations. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in communication studies and minor in psychology from Indiana State University in 2006 as a student-athlete playing volleyball. After over a decade of mysterious health issues, Sarah completed her master’s degree in dietetics from Eastern Michigan University in 2022. Her goal is to be the kind of healthcare practitioner for others that she needed years ago, approaching client needs with a nutrigenomics perspective. Sarah lives in Indianapolis with her husband and two boys, and owns her practice, Root & Fruit Nutrition: Nutrition Therapy Rooted in Your Genetics.
