I am a doctor of physical therapy from the University of Kentucky with over 22 years of experience in orthopedics and sports medicine. I have certifications in oncology and vestibular rehabilitation, as well as dry needling and ASTYM. I have always had a strong desire to help people heal from their injuries from the inside out, so adding a functional and integrative nutrition certification was the perfect fit for me.
As a mother to three wonderful kids, I realize the importance of providing healthy and delicious meals to my family while working full time. My desire is to educate on the importance of food as medicine, to decrease dependence of pharmacological agents, and to lower the disease burden by addressing the root causes of impairments. I provide a unique perspective, using a functional lens on the outside as a PT and on the inside as an integrative nutrition practitioner!
