Annie Rubin is a second career registered dietitian with a Masters in Nutritional Science from San Jose State University. She started off on Wall Street, but found her passion for nutrition while competing in endurance events. She completed her dietetic internship at Stanford Health Care and started her career as an outpatient dietitian at Stanford. Annie also used to be a part-time instructor at San Jose State University. She is a Certified Leap Therapist, an Autoimmune Protocol (AIP) Certified Coach and an Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner.
Annie is no stranger to autoimmune diseases. In 2008 she was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. While her disease went into remission quickly, it came back with a vengeance after the birth of her children. She has since used diet and lifestyle modifications to manage her symptoms, and her experience led her to establishing a private practice specifically for autoimmune diseases and other inflammatory disorders.
