Amy Carson

Hi! I'm Amy, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with nearly a decade of experience. I'm a Clemson University Alum (Go Tigers!) and am passionate about the many aspects of wellness - physical, mental, and social.

During a session with me, you’ll quickly see that my coaching philosophy involves equal parts nutrition education and the psychology behind eating. I coach clients to create intentional & sustainable changes to improve their lives. Living with IBS & PCOS myself, I understand the impact that food & lifestyle can have on improving symptoms and quality of life. I am a strong believer that living a healthy lifestyle should expand your life, not constrict it, and that food can be the most powerful medicine there is.

Outside of being an RD, I love spending time with my husband, dog, and baby girl. Born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, I find joy in exploring Chicago’s neighborhoods and traveling to new places. When it comes to food & drinks, I love trying something new — but tacos, sushi, or a glass of red wine tend to be my favorites. To balance out my own well-being, I practice yoga, meditation, strength training, and make sure to spend time with my tight-knit friends and family.
