Hi! Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I have a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and completed my dietetic internship at the Department of Health in South Carolina. I've been working as a Registered Dietitian for over 14 years now and hold specialty certifications in diabetes and integrative and functional nutrition.
I personally have battled my own health challenges including hormonal imbalances, IBS, adrenal fatigue, POTS and anemia. I took my health in my own hands after years of not getting any answers from conventional doctors and I have experienced the profound benefits of functional medicine. I immediately became motivated to learn the science behind root causes of illness, and how nutrition plays a major role in whole-body health. In my practice, I take a holistic approach with all my patients by incorporating food, sleep, stress, fitness, and toxic environmental factors, in an effort to reduce the risk of chronic disease and help my patients heal from the inside out.
