Erica Golden, RDN, LD, IFNCP
Erica Golden, RDN, LD, IFNCP is a clinical dietitian, author, speaker, and IFNA instructor. In her private practice, Nourished Mind Nutrition, Erica uses integrative and functional nutrition and lifestyle tools to improve clients’ mental health and gastrointestinal health–specializing in conditions including depression, anxiety, postpartum depression, ADHD, ASD, addiction, disordered eating, and disorders of the gut-brain interaction (DGBIs) such as IBS. She uses a weight-inclusive, trauma-informed approach to nutrition counseling and care, focusing on helping clients build healthier relationships with food and with their bodies.

Erica is passionate about training other health professionals about trauma-informed nutrition care, mental health, and neurodiversity. She is the author of the CE book Nutrition and Mental Health: Integrative Approaches for Diet, Dysfunction and the Gut-Brain Axis, the book she wished existed when she first started working with clients with depression and anxiety.

Erica started her career working at an inpatient eating disorder treatment facility, and then spent several years learning various aspects of the nutrition field, including elder care, substance abuse treatment, mental health/PTSD care, enteral nutrition, and primary care before niching in mental health and the gut-microbiome-brain axis. Her approach is rooted in a belief in the innate wisdom and self-knowledge of individuals, the power of the client-provider relationship as a pathway to healing, and the importance of respecting, collaborating with, and learning with our clients.
