
Alicia Galvin Smith MEd, RD, LD, CLT, IFNCP owner of Alicia Galvin LLC, has practiced in the Dallas/Fort Worth area since 2008 with a keen interest in gastrointestinal disease, such as IBS, IBD, and SIBO, as well as has a focus in fertility, autoimmunity, and chronic inflammatory conditions. In addition to owning her own practice since 2014, she practiced as an integrative and functional dietitian at a premier functional medicine clinic for over 5 years, helping patients develop customized solutions that empower them to take control of their health challenges.
She is also Co-Founder of SIBO Academy, an evidence-based training platform for dietitians and nutrition professionals looking to deepen their knowledge in SIBO and related GI conditions. She also has provided educational webinars for various food and supplement companies in the area of GI health.
She earned a Masters of Education in Counseling degree from the University of North Texas and completed her Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner (IFNCP) certification with the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy.
Alicia has a passion for education and mentoring and has served as Mentoring Coordinator for the Nutrition Entrepreneurs DPG and served as Nominating Committee Chair for the Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Nutrition DPG.
