Mary Purdy, MS, RDN

Mary Purdy, MS, RDN, CD spent the last 4 years at the wellness company, Arivale, as a Coach and Clinical Education Lead providing both training to coaches, as well as nutrition and lifestyle counseling to clients using a personalized medicine approach that took into account nutritional genetics, blood analyte biomarkers, microbiome, and salivary cortisol. Before that, she was in private practice for 8 years working with hundreds of patients on a variety of health issues. She holds a Master’s Degree from Bastyr University where she spent 3 years as adjunct professor and 5 years as a clinical supervisor at Bastyr Center for Natural Health. She co-authored the Diet Appendix for The Anti-Inflammatory Diet chapter for the 14th& 15th ed. of Krause’s Food & The Nutrition Care Process. She has given 100’s of workshops and presented at professional conferences including The Washington State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, The Academy of Integrative Healthcare and Medicine, The Austin Alliance of Registered Dietitians, IM4US and was the keynote speaker at Bastyr University’s Commencement Ceremony 2019. She is also Past Chair of Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine, host of the web series & podcast “Mary’s Nutrition Show” and author of the book “Serving the Broccoli Gods.”
