Emily Niswanger, MS, RDN, LD, IFNCP
Emily Niswanger is an integrative and functional nutrition certified registered dietitian in Minneapolis, MN. She works at the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing, an integrative and functional medicine clinic embedded into a traditional healthcare system. In 2019, Emily is also the creator of the Anywhere Nutrition Real Food Prep Club. A whole foods based meal plan membership that is gluten, dairy and soy free and provides RD support to all participants. Emily loves teaching people how to cook food at home with high quality, sustainable ingredients. In 2016 she traveled to Cuba with a delegation to learn about herbalism and sustainable agriculture. Emily believes that health professionals have a responsibility to promote dietary habits and policy that positively impact the health of our communities and the world. Emily’s background consists of a bachelors degree in dietetics as well as masters degree in nutritional science. Emily is also a published author with research in food access and childhood obesity.
